Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat, has decided to postpone trials plan on motorcycle prohibited lane extension until Jalan Jenderal Sudirman. This trial will be applied after all transportation infrastructure constructions are done.

Since it is postponed, Djarot also asked all installed socialization banners to be removed. Later on, he will ask the motorcycle prohibited lane extension option to be analyzed deeply.

Jakarta Transportation Dept. (Dishub) Head, Andri Yansyah stated, his side has consulted with various parties, such as Presidential Advisory Council (Watimpres) and City Council regarding the postponed trials.
According to him, there are three things need to be done before applying this policy. First, socialization for this trial must be done more massively. Second, to complete infrastructure such as sidewalk repair on the road where vehicle restriction is applied
. And last, several feeder buses needs to be operated in alternative roads."Thus it will be applied after infrastructures have been completed," he closed.
